Shelle Page is a 29-year resident of Brooklyn Park and your elected Central District Council Member. In 2024, she earned your trust to serve on the City Council — and she has spent every day since working to honor it. Now, Shelle is taking the next step: running for Mayor of Brooklyn Park in 2026.
With over 30 years of professional experience as a Mortgage Consultant, Shelle has built her career on trust, integrity, and a genuine commitment to helping people achieve their goals. Those same values guide everything she does in public service.
Shelle raised her two daughters in District #279 and #011. She has been a steadfast supporter of Brooklyn Park's First Responders throughout her career — understanding the unique demands and sacrifices of those who keep our community safe.

Shelle has spent her adult life showing up for Brooklyn Park — not just as a candidate or an elected official, but as a neighbor, a business professional, and a volunteer.
She has long advocated for housing affordability, neighborhood safety, and local business support. Her approach to leadership is rooted in collaboration, transparency, and a genuine desire to listen before acting.
As a mortgage professional, she has helped countless families in this community navigate some of the most important financial decisions of their lives; that experience has given her both empathy and a clear-eyed understanding of what economic stability really means for real people.
As Mayor, Shelle will bring that same boots-on-the-ground, people-first approach to leading all of Brooklyn Park.

As a dedicated public servant and Brooklyn Park City Council Member, Shelle blends deep financial expertise with an unwavering commitment to her community.
She currently serves as an EDA Commissioner and is the Brooklyn Park City Council’s Liaison for the Budget Advisory Committee, where she prioritizes long-term fiscal responsibility and sustainable local growth.
Her leadership extends across vital community-building initiatives, including work on the Community Long-Range Improvement Commission and shaping regional strategies on the 2026 Housing and Economic Development Policy Committee.
As a champion for working families, Shelle advocates directly for youth and children as a Brooklyn Bridge Alliance for Youth Board Member and through active leadership in local family nonprofits.
Combining her professional background with a passion for civic impact, Shelle also advances smart property and growth initiatives via her role in Government Affairs with the Minnesota Association of Realtors (MAR).
